For Tahini Dressing:
⅓ cup tahini
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2–4 tablespoons water
Salt, to taste
1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1. For the dressing, combine the tahini, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add water and continue to mix until dressing is pourable. Season with salt and Aleppo pepper. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add broccolini and lemon halves and sauté until everything has a nice char, 6–8 minutes. Add garlic and crushed red pepper and sauté for another minute.
3. Add water, cover pan and steam until water is nearly evaporated. Remove from heat and carefully squeeze the lemon over the broccolini.
4. Place broccolini on serving platter or plate and drizzle with tahini dressing. Season with salt and pepper.
