Full Time Buyer

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the ordering and replenishment of product prioritizing that product is in stock and available for the customer.

- Execute both seasonal and year-round core orders with extreme attention to detail.

- Develop/ Execute Open to Buy including understanding flow of inventory on-hand, inventory on-order, and inventory assignment

- Be Intuitive in understanding sales trends, seasonality of product, promotional and exit strategy for sell through

Understand concepts of Floorplanning and the brand standards for visual merchandising to ensure that store displays remain full and stock is available in warehouses

- Understand and perpetuate the mechanics of Product Flow including shipping time, receiving, and supply chain

- Work closely with warehouse teams to manage inventory

Partner with the Store Managers and General Manager to support a consistently positive customer experience that is representative of brand standards

- Partner in assortment planning decisions including trend, core, and market preference and the ability to forecast sales demand

- Communicate sales, product trend, availability, limited inventory, and ETAs to Store and Brand Management

- Communication directly with the stores in order to manage on hand inventory at the store level including both product and non-retail goods


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Buyer

  • Able to read/understand terms related to that as a buyer

  • Able to multi-task and take on additional duties as it arises

Job Description

  • Address customers’ inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve customers’ complaints, propose solutions, assign cases to Rectification team, or conduct furniture rectification to ensure superior customer service standards and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Responsibilities also includes, but not limited to handling clerical tasks such as processing work orders, delivery orders, filing of documents and ad hoc paperwork.

Housewares Sales Associate

Job Description

  • Maximize company sales growth and profitability through the use of creative selling skills, teamwork and customer service, in order to deliver an engaged experience to every customer, every time. 
  • Demonstrate company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
  • Ensure full understanding of all products and have a continued awareness of the most current information available.
  • Develop, share and apply product expertise.
  • Maintain an awareness of all product information, intranet communications, and current advertising and marketing initiatives.

Furniture Sales Associate

Job Description

  • Identify and develop strategic sales approach to increase sales, seeing through the whole customer experience cycle to ensure outstanding customer assistance  from initial purchase to delivery and after-sales follow ups in order to attract new customers and maintain existing customers.

Job Description

  • Maintain and process the flow of merchandise in, out and within the store, in a timely manner.
  • Perform store maintenance.
